The Critic’s Word presents: The Chewie Awards!

Ladies and gentlemen, it is my utmost pleasure to announce an event that’s been in the works for quite a while now for all of us over at The Critic’s Word. We’ve secretly discussed the idea of an award that would not discriminate the little guy, but rather honor them beside the big leagues. So it is my pleasure to announce the 1st annual “Honorable Entertainment Winners in Excellence Awards,” AKA The Chewie Awards!

We, the writing staff of The Critic’s Word, have secretly nominated a compilation of films we’ve seen and believe is deserving of such an honor. This award is not simply nitpicking the “Oscar” nominees so many other generic awards do, but pit films of both indie and mainstream against each other, to be place in a vote before you, the reader to decide who should walk home with the honor.
